The Importance of Field Dressing

Here is what happens when you don't get the guts out of your moose in a decent amount of time. There are so many people that should get a lesson on how to field dress. This unnecessary loss is avoidable folks! The whole carcass is condemned when an animal is not field dressed properly.

If you don't open up the animal, where do you think all the heat that is created after death goes? A body will immediately start to heat up from the inside out so don't waste time celebrating your kill with a beer; get the animal field dressed ASAP and then celebrate. You actually have about 45 minutes......but why push it!
